Keep your eye on Sven Gamsky. The artist known as Still Woozy is crafting some of the most unique pop music, with a visual aesthetic that’s colorful, playful and refuses to take itself too seriously. The video for his latest single, “Habit,” (directed by Shawheen Keyani) is a comical twist on a classic TV dating game, with Gamsky trying to win the affection of a beautiful woman over two other contestants.
“I think I’m trying to make music that people can put on and feel like they’re connecting with me, but I’m not bumming them out too hard,” Gamsky told Complex last year. “There’s a suitable amount of melancholy mixed with self-deprecation, and also a general feeling that it’s going to be okay.” After a massive 2019 touring schedule, the Oakland-based artist doesn’t have any current gigs lined up, but we hope he’s got more videos planned for Lately.
